Destinations
We travel the State of Michigan, it
all depends on the target species and the time of year. We
will have locations posted a few weeks in advance. We
spend a lot of time on Lake St. Clair in the summer and Lake
Michigan in the fall.

Our Guide Services
Each of our clients will
receive personal instruction on
proper handling of their kayak
as well as fishing techniques
that are related to the species
of fish that we will be
targeting.
Our one-day guided fishing trips run 7 hours and
are limited to four people per guide. This will assure
everyone gets plenty of individual attention and instruction.
* Fee for a one-person trip is
$190
* Two person $280
* each additional person $110
What is provided
- Kayak and paddle
- Safety equipment
- Fishing gear (rod and reel, lures, bait, etc)
- Experienced guide
- Drinking Water
- Granola and Power Bars for snack/Lunch
- Soft Sided Cooler with ice
What to Bring

Bring a hat
with a wide brim in the summer.
(This will help keep
you cool in the
mid-day heat and
keep your neck, face
and ears from
burning.) -
Bring a warm hat
with for cold weather (To help keep your head and ears warm).

A good pair of
polarized
sunglasses.

Sun screen. (At least
an SPF rating of 30
is recommended.)

Water shoes or old
tennis sneakers.
Waders during cold
weather.

You can bring your favorite non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.

Rain Gear. (The weather in
Michigan can change
at a moment's notice
so bring some rain
gear if you have it). |

With the heat and
exertion involved in
kayak fishing, it is
not advisable to
bring alcoholic
beverages.

You can bring your favorite fishing rods, reels, lures, etc. if you wish. We all have a rig that just "feels right" and always comes with us on every trip. However, Great Lakes Kayak Fishing will not be held liable for loss or damage to said equipment or other personal belongings.
Important Info
All trips performed by Great Lakes Kayak Fishing
will be paid via cash, check or credit card. For all
bookings, a $75 deposit is required in advance. A
cancellation fee of 20% will be assessed if you cancel your
trip within 24 hours. If you cancel within 12 hours notice,
you will forfeit your trip and money. However, in this
circumstance, if you wish to reschedule due to unforeseen
circumstances, we may be able to reschedule you for a
different trip upon the agreement of both parties. A refund
will be granted if you let Great Lakes Kayak Fishing know 48
hours in advance that you can't make the trip.
